ICSID entirely dismissed the plaintiff’s claims amounting to more than USD 100,000,000 for an alleged expropriation of the investment made on Otopeni Airport based on a concession contract to provide duty free and other retail services. The case covered 12 years of Otopeni Airport history and addressed numerous corporate and contract law, public procurement issues, standard of fair and equitable treatment and investment protection.
