Robert Roşu has become a partner at the firm formerly known as Ţuca & Asociaţii, after 7 years practice. He heads the Litigation and Arbitration Department and will be responsible for the firm's strategy in this field, seeking to structure the firm's litigation department along the same lines as legal practices in the West.
Robert Roşu has been a member of the firm formerly known as Ţuca & Asociaţii from its beginning in March, 2005. He was previously a senior associate within a well-known Romanian law firm. He said, "Right from the start I believed that the blend of youth and experience at this company would be successful. By joining the other founders of Ţuca & Asociaţii today, this belief has become a fact. Also, the confidence the company has shown in me since I came to the firm represents a personal achievement in itself."
The firm also announced the appointment of Gabriel Zbârcea as Managing Partner. He is working together with Florentin Ţuca, one of the firm's founders and also a Managing Partner. The addition of Gabriel Zbârcea and Robert Roşu to the company further strengthens a team of lawyers who is striving to make an international name for the firm.
"The appointment of two new partners at the beginning of the New Year has given me reason to double my celebrations. They are two very experienced lawyers, as well as being close friends. Furthermore, these new appointments clearly demonstrate that we are a solid, reliable law firm. We now have 10 partners altogether, a considerable achievement in less than a year. These recent developments confirm my belief that the idea of partnership is not simply a utopia, but a realizable goal. However, we will never become complacent. Today's announcement is the first of many to come. We think that we still have a lot to prove" said Florentin Ţuca, Managing Partner.
As part of our firm's immediate aims, a focus has been placed on building a unique brand, on the rapid growth of a team of lawyers and support staff, developing clients' portfolios, extending collaboration with international firms, becoming affiliated to professional associations and chambers of commerce and industry, as well as taking an active part in the community by getting involved in corporate and social responsibility projects.
