We are committed to actively support our involvement in pro bono activities and therefore we encourage our lawyers to provide pro bono work as a tool to broaden their knowledge and skills.
We believe that pro bono work helps fostering a sense of civic engagement and enhances the reputation of the legal profession as a whole.
Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii has assisted individuals, NGOs, government and public administration bodies on corporate and commercial law matters, tax, torts, intellectual property, family law disputes, real estate litigations.
Over the last two years, we have developed a fellowship program to offer graduating law students the opportunity to do pro bono work before they join our offices as associates.
As part of our pro bono work, our lawyers have provided regulatory legal services to governmental bodies and institutions with relation to drafting, amending and adjusting legal and regulatory enactments in a variety of areas. We have recently assisted the Romanian Ministry of Justice and participated in the public debates organized by the Ministry of Justice on the proposals for amending Companies Law 31/1990 with a view to its adjustment to the EU legislation relevant to this matter.
Currently, Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii is involved in the International Bar Association`s
Pro Bono Website initiative which aims at promoting the delivery of global pro bono legal assistance and reinforce the rule of law whilst providing a mechanism through which law firms can access projects that fit with their skills and resources. As such, we are supporting IBA in all matters regarding website's content and structure.
