Oana Mareș is a Managing Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice group at Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii.
She has extensive experience in a broad range of dispute resolution and arbitration matters, with a strong focus on civil and commercial litigation, particularly disputes arising from contractual and tort liability, press-related claims, intellectual property, insurance, and insolvency proceedings. Her practice also covers administrative and tax litigation, labor disputes, as well as complex real estate matters, including claims concerning the restitution of nationalised properties.
In addition, she has significant experience in litigation concerning European funds and state aid, including disputes against public authorities such as the Agency for Payments and Intervention for Agriculture (APIA).
Throughout her career, Oana has successfully represented clients in high-profile and technically complex cases, including disputes involving contractual and non-contractual liability, challenges against acts issued by fiscal and administrative authorities, litigation related to the recovery or correction of European funds, and enforcement proceedings, including the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and related litigation.
