The Legal 500 has recently released the 'Arbitration Powerlist: Central and Eastern Europe', a list of the best arbitration counsels in the CEE region. Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații achieved the largest number of listings for any law firm in Romania.

For 33 years, The Legal 500 has been analysing the capabilities of law firms and sets across the world, compiling one of the most accurate and comprehensive rankings in the legal field. The publisher has recently released the 'Arbitration Powerlist: Central and Eastern Europe', showcasing the leading practitioners working in the region, from Austria and Poland to the Baltic nations and down to Serbia and North Macedonia. According to the editors, "the listing reflects those practitioners that are deemed the gold standard by business".

The listing from Romania includes 15 lawyers and one arbitrator of the Bucharest International Court of Arbitration (BIAC), with Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații receiving the largest number of nominations. No less than five lawyers from the Romanian law firm were included in the publication - Florentin Țuca, Levana Zigmund, Anca Pușcașu, Cornel Popa, Robert Roșu. They are all reputable dispute resolution practitioners whose expertise encompasses arbitration under the leading institution rules, including under the Court of International Commercial Arbitration (attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania), the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the UNCITRAL Rules or the International Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague and GAFTA rules.

Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has a leading practice in Dispute Resolution, the firm's pre-eminence in this area being already acknowledged by renowned international publications, such as the Global Arbitration Review, Legal 500, Chambers & Partners. More so, the firm is a recipient of the 2020 "Law Firm of the Year in Romania for Dispute Resolution" Award by Benchmark Litigation Europe (a publication of Euromoney Legal Media Group), one the most coveted and prestigious international accolades for law firms specialising in litigation and arbitration.
